Another first for the 3rian collection is this deco style Telechron clock radio, also known as “The Musalarm”. Telechron was a major manufacturer of clocks for both radios and wall fixtures. In the late 40s and early 50s they teamed up with General Electric and released a handful of charming radios using the Telechron name. This Telechron radio originally sold for $35.65  in 1947. Today in 2013 this Dollar value would equal $380.71!

The annual inflation over this period was 3.65%.

Inside this radio we have a 4 tube AM amplifier and a 4 inch  permanent magnet loudspeaker.

This radio has been restored and converted with a direct MP3/iPhone line-in. USB charger and Bluetooth upgrades available.
