Bendix is known for building strong and reliable radios.  The 626 is a shining example of Bendix’s achievements.

Cast in Bakelite, the ivory cabinet holds a gold and green glass dial scale. This radio has many angles and ribs continuing to the back of the radio. Built into the top of the 626 is a sturdy handle.

Inside this AM radio we find 6 large tubes and a warm toned 5.5 by 4 inch  permanent magnet speaker.

This radio has been restored and converted with a direct MP3/iPhone line-in. USB charger and Bluetooth upgrades available.
